Alan Dempsey

Alan Dempsey has over 15 years of experience in Retail and Retail Management before transitioning to the Pharmaceutical Industry. Alan earned a Bachelor's degree in GMP and Pharmaceutical Technology from Technological University Dublin in 2018. Currently, Alan works as a Lead Tech in Operations at MSD Ireland, where responsibilities include purifying APIs in a GMP environment and conducting HPLC and UPLC analyses. Alan also trains new starters and collaborates closely with the Quality department to maintain cGxP standards. Prior to this role, Alan served as a Manufacturing Technologist at Ipsen, where they were involved in large-scale peptide purification and batch record management.
