Daniel Knapp

Daniel Knapp has extensive experience in supply chain management and operations within the pharmaceutical industry. At MSD, from April 2017 to July 2018, Daniel served as Supply Chain Director, overseeing multiple functions for the Singapore site, which includes seven manufacturing facilities and contributes significantly to MSD's global sales. Daniel also worked as Packaging Operations Director for vaccines, managing operations outside the USA. In May 2023, Daniel assumed the role of Director of Supply Chain Management at MSD Ireland, where the focus is on a Biologics Drug Substance commercialization facility. Prior experience at Merck from August 2011 to April 2017 involved managing operations for solid dose tablet production and dry product inhaling manufacturing. A Six Sigma Black Belt, Daniel possesses significant expertise in Lean methodology and change management. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechanical/Manufacturing from UNSW, completed in 1995.
