Michael Sheahan

Michael Sheahan is a Site Process Microbiologist (Associate Director) at MSD, responsible for overseeing and managing all microbiological aspects of the site's operations. With extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries, Michael previously held roles at various esteemed organizations, including Eli Lilly and Company as a Principal Microbiologist and Bristol Myers Squibb as a Principal Scientist in Aseptic Process Control Sciences. Michael earned a First Class Honours in Microbiology from University College Cork and has a history of managing microbial risks, conducting investigations, and mentoring team members throughout their career.
