Alexander Gerstler

Alexander Gerstler is a seasoned process engineer with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as a Process Engineer II at MSD Switzerland since March 2023, Alexander has previously held positions at Janssen Inc., Merck, and MSD, focusing on global technical operations, manufacturing process change control, and risk management. Notable contributions include supporting external manufacturing of monoclonal antibody-based drug substances, leading cross-functional investigations, and implementing Lean Six Sigma principles for process improvements. Alexander also has experience in project management and quality management systems from a tenure at Canna Health AG, as well as earlier roles in quality assurance and logistics.
