Matteo Egger

Matteo Egger is a Clinical Research Associate at MSD Switzerland since August 2023, with previous experience as a Doctoral Student at the University of Zurich focusing on neuronal rewiring in the adult brain from September 2018 to July 2023. Prior to that, Matteo worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Zurich's Brain Research Institute, contributing to projects in neural connectivity and completing a master's thesis on "Extracellular Vesicle-Associated Nogo-A as a Ligand." Additional research experience includes internships at the University of Zurich and University Hospital Zürich, studying neurobiology and clinical neurorehabilitation. Matteo holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and Technology from ETH Zürich, as well as a pre-university diploma in Biology and Chemistry from Liceo Cantonale Bellinzona.
