Lawrence Oliver possesses extensive experience in military instruction, planning, and operations. Currently, Lawrence serves as an adjunct faculty member at Marine Corps University, teaching USMC Command and Staff distant education, while also providing motorcycle safety instruction through the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. Past roles include Director of Plans and Policy at Marine Corps Forces Command and Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton. Lawrence has held key leadership positions, such as Commanding Officer at Norwich University NROTC and MCAS Miramar, where responsibilities included managing large teams and overseeing various operational aspects. Additionally, Lawrence has experience as an Operations Analyst for the Department of Defense and has an academic background with a Master’s in National Resource Strategy and Military Studies.

The Motorcycle Safety Foundation® is the internationally recognized developer of the comprehensive, research-based, Rider Education and Training System (MSF RETS). RETS curricula promotes lifelong-learning for motorcyclists and continuous professional development for certified RiderCoaches and other trainers. MSF also actively participates in government relations, safety research, public awareness campaigns and the provision of technical assistance to state training and licensing programs. The Motorcycle Safety Foundation is a national, not-for-profit organization sponsored by BMW, BRP, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Piaggio, Suzuki, Triumph, Victory and Yamaha.
