Robert Stonehill

Motorcycle Instructor at Motorcycle Safety Foundation

Robert Stonehill is an experienced professional with a diverse background in both instruction and law enforcement. Currently serving as Director at Alpha Instruction since 2009, Robert specializes in teaching situational awareness and developing "Gentlemen" and "Lady" warriors. In addition, Robert has been a Harley Davidson Riding Coach since March 2016 and a Motorcycle Instructor for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation since February 2011. Previous roles include Trooper First Class with the Connecticut State Police from December 1994 to June 2009, and a Member of the New York Stock Exchange while at Stonehill Securities from November 1989 to November 1994. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Psychology from Skidmore College and completed secondary education at Weston High School.

Motorcycle Safety Foundation

The Motorcycle Safety Foundation® is the internationally recognized developer of the comprehensive, research-based, Rider Education and Training System (MSF RETS). RETS curricula promotes lifelong-learning for motorcyclists and continuous professional development for certified RiderCoaches and other trainers. MSF also actively participates in government relations, safety research, public awareness campaigns and the provision of technical assistance to state training and licensing programs. The Motorcycle Safety Foundation is a national, not-for-profit organization sponsored by BMW, BRP, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Piaggio, Suzuki, Triumph, Victory and Yamaha.
