Wolfgang Schmid

Wolfgang Schmid has over 20 years of work experience in various financial roles. Wolfgang started their career as an Accountant at Swiss Life in 1998 before moving on to KPMG Consulting / Bearingpoint as a Manager in 2001. In 2004, they joined Allianz as a Consultant Global Reporting. Wolfgang then transitioned to Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) in 2007, where they served as Department Head Financial Systems and later as a Program Manager. In 2018, Wolfgang joined msg global solutions as the Head of Business Unit. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Finance Solutions and Executive Vice President at msg global solutions.

Wolfgang Schmid obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in General Management from ESMT Berlin from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a Diplom Kaufmann in Betriebswirtschaftslehre (business administration). In addition to their degrees, Schmid has also obtained certifications including a PRINCE2 Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice in March 2016 and Dipl.Kfm. from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) München in May 1995.
