Anthony started their career in 1999 as a Community Relations Coordinator I at PennDOT, where they oversaw and managed public relations efforts and served as the key point of contact for media inquiries. In 2004, Anthony became the Community Relations Coordinator II at PennDOT, overseeing the Safety Administration's public relations efforts and managing the Driver and Vehicle Services website.
In 2005, Anthony joined RETTEW Associates, Inc. as a Public Relations Specialist. Anthony managed and executed all public relations activities for the engineering firm, including strategic planning and building relationships with local media outlets.
In 2013, Anthony joined The M.S. Hershey Foundation as a Communications and Public Relations Specialist. Anthony provided end-to-end public relations support, including story pitching, press events, and interviews to promote the foundation's goals and mission. Anthony later became the Public Relations & Communications Manager, responsible for managing and executing all public relations, media relations, social media, and communications for various properties owned by the foundation, such as Hershey Gardens and The Hershey Story Museum. Anthony's work included managing the Hershey Theatre Apollo Awards.
