Dennis Drew

VP Of IT at Mspark

Dennis Drew has extensive experience in IT and software development, spanning over several companies and roles. Dennis started their career as a Marketing Support Assistant at IBM in 1988 and later became a Marketing Agent responsible for the "New Account" territory. From 1992 to 1995, they served as an IT Director for Union Bank and Trust, overseeing the bank's computer information systems. In 1995, they joined GE IT Solutions as an Area Services Manager, managing service personnel for the Service Division in Alabama.

In 1996, Dennis joined Colonial Bank as a Distributed Systems Manager, and later became the VP of Networking Services, responsible for overseeing six departments within the Information Technology Department. Dennis joined XSP in 2002 as the SVP President of Product Development & Operations. In this role, they served until 2006, leading product development and operations.

From 2006 to 2014, Dennis held various roles at EBSCO, including Director Project Management, Manager of EAMS, EIS Web Development Manager, and Director of EIS Development. In these positions, they were responsible for web and mainframe application development, software quality assurance, project management, and client technical support.

In 2010, Dennis joined CareFusion as the Quality & System Engineering Director, managing three departments and implementing software quality assurance best practices and project management methodology. From 2014 to 2020, they worked at Casamba Corp. as the Senior Director of Product Development, overseeing multiple products and development teams.

Most recently, Dennis joined Mspark in 2020 as the Senior Director of Application Development and later became the VP of IT.

Dennis Drew completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Auburn University at Montgomery from 1986 to 1989. Subsequently, they pursued higher education and obtained a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the same institution, completing it from 1990 to 1992.
