Sheikh Shafiq is currently the Head of Research and Development at MS Pharma in Amman, Jordan, a position held since 2025. Sheikh Shafiq earned a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from Hamdard University, New Delhi, between 2004 and 2007, an M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics from UIPS, Panjab University Chandigarh, from 1993 to 1995, and a B.Pharm in Pharmacy from the College of Pharmacy, KMC, Manipal, from 1989 to 1993.
