John Downes

John Downes, CTP, is the Senior Vice President of Liquidity Solutions at M&T Bank, where they leverage extensive capital markets experience to deliver fixed income investment and liquidity strategies to a diverse client base. Previously, they held senior positions at Santander Bank, N.A. and State Street Global Markets, where they drove business development and client relations within the liquidity sector. With a history of exceeding sales goals and fostering strong client partnerships, John has also served as a Board member and Past President of the New England Association of Financial Professionals. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Assumption University and have maintained FINRA series 7 and 63 licenses for over 20 years.
