Robert Atkinson

Robert Atkinson is currently the Senior Vice President and Senior Associate General Counsel at M&T Bank, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to this, Robert served as a Registered Patent Attorney at Simpson & Simpson, PLLC from 2003 to 2019. They also held engineering management roles at Leica Microsystems from 1995 to 2002 and at Reichert, Inc from 2002 to 2003. Robert earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the State University of New York at Buffalo - Law School, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Chemistry from the State University of New York at Buffalo and the State University of New York College at Geneseo, respectively.
