Jonathan Abbott

Jonathan Abbott is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in infrastructure management and transformation projects. Currently serving as the Infrastructure Programme Manager at MTC since March 2019, Jonathan has successfully managed the transition to a cloud-first, zero-trust, zero-infrastructure IT solution. As the founder of the Archimedes Software Preservation Project, Jonathan aims to preserve Acorn Archimedes commercial games. Previous roles include Transformation Programme Manager and Technical Delivery Manager at Capita Education Software Services, VP IT Operations at WorldPay, and Infrastructure Manager at the Royal Bank of Scotland, among others. With a degree from Anglia Ruskin University, Jonathan has built extensive expertise through a career that spans over three decades across various organizations, focusing on IT strategy, infrastructure design, and project management.
