Melanie Bower Calu is an experienced professional in human resources and organizational development, currently serving as the Group Managing Director of People and Culture at Modern Times Group MTG AB since January 2023. Previously, Melanie was the Regional Head of HR & Business Partner Director at AMD and held various leadership roles at Travelzoo, including Vice President and General Manager. Additionally, Melanie co-founded Classic Stills and served as a Board Member for Chocolate Butterflies e.V. Educational credentials include two MBA degrees from INSEAD and Tsinghua University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Sociology from Northwestern University. Melanie's expertise spans across multiple sectors, including gaming, e-commerce, and technology, with a strong focus on talent development and organizational growth.
