Scott Lansing is an experienced transportation management professional with a diverse background in leading transit operations. Currently serving as the General Manager for MTM Transit since July 2019, Scott oversees the Sarasota paratransit system, ensuring service delivery for over 600 individuals daily. Previous roles include General Manager at Silverado Stages, where Scott managed operations and financial performance, and Director of Bus Operations at Triangle Transit Authority, supervising a large team and commuter services. Extensive previous experience encompasses leading the largest university bus shuttle system in the U.S. at First Transit and providing executive leadership to Chatham Area Transit Authority. Scott began their career at the University of Virginia in various roles within Parking and Transportation Services after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.
