Farai C. has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Farai started at Huawei Mobile South Africa in 2010 as a Core project manager, eventually being appointed as the Head of the Delivery and Service department for the Cell-C key account. During their time there, Farai had overall responsibility for network deployment and customer support services.

In 2012, Farai joined Ericsson MMEA as a Service Delivery Manager. Farai was responsible for the customer support function, including incident management, problem management, and hardware and software support. Farai also handled contract execution for customer service for various clients in North Africa.

From 2013 to 2016, Farai worked at Vimpelcom-Telecel Zimbabwe, starting as the Core Network Planning Manager and later becoming the Head of Network Planning and Engineering. In this role, they were in charge of developing and operating network infrastructure and services. Farai also played a key role in technology strategy, transformation processes, and achieving business objectives.

Since 2017, Farai has been working at MTN CONGO. Farai first held the position of Technical Director: Managed Services and was contracted under the Huawei and then ZTE Managed Services organization. Farai oversaw outsourced technology functions and was responsible for strategic alignment, operations, technology governance, resource management, and risk management across various mobile technology domains.

Throughout their career, Farai has gained experience in a wide range of technology areas, including RAN, transmission, core networks, IP networks, and power systems. Farai has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on achieving KPIs and supporting business objectives.

Farai C. began their education in 2001 at the University of Zimbabwe, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science honours degree in Electrical Engineering. Farai completed their undergraduate studies in 2005 with a first-class distinction. Farai then pursued further education, obtaining a Master's degree in Communication Engineering from the University of Zimbabwe. Farai attended this institution from 2005 to 2007, specializing in Telecommunication. Thus, Farai's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master's degree in Communication Engineering, both obtained from the University of Zimbabwe.
