Matt Walker

Matt Walker is the current Chief Analyst & CEO at MTN Consulting, a position they have held since 2006. Prior to their work at MTN Consulting, Walker was Practice Leader, Companies & Markets at Ovum from 2006-2017. Matt has also held positions at Fierce Telecom and MWL Consulting.

Walker’s experience in the telecom industry began at RHK, where they served as Regional Director, Asia-Pacific from 1998-2003. In this role, they were responsible for initiating RHK’s coverage of Asian telecom markets and growing RHK’s telecom consulting and research business in Asia.

After leaving RHK, Walker founded MWL Consulting, a small professional services firm focused on telecom equipment and electric power markets in Asia. Matt then went on to join MTN Consulting, where they have been Chief Analyst & CEO for the past 14 years.

Matt Walker completed a B.A./M.S. in Political Science/Public Policy at the University of Rochester. Prior to that, they attended high school at Northfield Mount Hermon.
