Witopo Salim is a Staff R&D Scientist at Membrane Technology and Research, Inc., utilizing over five years of expertise in the development of composite polymer membranes and nanostructured membranes for gas separations. Previously, Witopo served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Ohio State University, where significant contributions included the fabrication of membranes for CO2 capture and the development of a high-temperature polymer membrane for hydrogen purification. Prior to this, Witopo worked as a Project Engineer at CTCI Corporation, managing construction projects in the petrochemical sector for over five years. Witopo earned a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from The Ohio State University and holds a Master’s and Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
