Daniel Kireev

Daniel Kireev is the Head of Machine Learning at MTS AI, overseeing all machine learning components and leading a team of over 120 professionals, including more than 70 ML researchers and engineers, as of October 2023. Prior to this role, Kireev served as Head of Research Projects and Senior Researcher at VisionLabs from June 2016 to December 2023, where responsibilities included managing human-centric video analytics projects and product management for person tracking solutions. Kireev's extensive experience in video analytics encompasses roles from researcher to team lead, specializing in face recognition and person re-identification. Early career contributions include work as a Student Researcher at MSU Graphics & Media Lab, focusing on object detection and license plate recognition. Kireev holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Lomonosov Moscow State University, attained in 2018.
