Boris Katan is an experienced Information Technology Instructor at MTTI since 1999, responsible for strategic planning and implementation of network and PC security, customer assistance for IT support, and teaching various technical programs. Prior to MTTI, Boris served as Quality Manager at Acushnet Company from 1992 to 1999, where significant contributions included launching PC networks, managing quality programs that resulted in substantial cost savings, and establishing a corporate training center. Boris holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, earned between 1981 and 1984.
MTTI
MotoRing Technical Training Institute is a private Technical Training School located in Seekonk, MA. The Marine Service Technician program is located at MTTI's satellite campus at 54 Water Street, East Providence, RI. MTTI primarily serves students from Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts. MTTI is proud to offer short-term (approximately seven months) Career Training programs teaching the hands-on technical skills that have already put hundreds of people to work on the new careers of their choice. Through quality technical education, MotoRing Technical Training Institute will provide the trainee with the skills, knowledge and competencies necessary to meet entry level needs of the labor market. MTTI seeks ongoing input from employers and manufacturers into the development of curriculum to ensure their instruction reflects the current state of technology.
