Amanda Stump

Amanda Stump currently serves as the Associate Director and previously as the Assistant Director of Research Development at the Institute of Computing and Cybersystems at Michigan Technological University, achieving record growth and significantly increasing grant proposals and awards within an 18-month period. Stump also manages grants for Nuzzles & Co Pet Rescue and Adoption, focusing on partnerships and funding in the Four Corners area. Previous positions include Adjunct Instructor in Animal Science at Broadview University, Laboratory Manager/Project Manager at PolarityTE, Laboratory Manager/Research Scientist at the University of Utah School of Medicine, and Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Mayo Clinic Rochester. Stump holds a PhD in Forest Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology from Michigan Technological University, alongside multiple degrees in molecular genetics, molecular biology, and medical illustration from the University of Northern Iowa and the University of Michigan.
