Amy Landis currently serves as the Associate Dean of Graduate and Online Education at Michigan Technological University since July 2025 and is a Visiting Professor at Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo, focusing on sustainable and circular plastic solutions. Previously, Landis held the position of Professor and Presidential Faculty Fellow of Diversity, Inclusion & Access at Colorado School of Mines, and served as Professor and Hash Endowed Chair at Clemson University, where responsibilities included directing the Institute for Sustainability. Additional academic roles include Associate Professor at Arizona State University and Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh. Landis earned a PhD in Civil and Materials Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago and a BS in Chemistry from Denison University.
