Chelsea Schelly

Chelsea Schelly is a distinguished scholar in sociology, currently serving as a Professor and previously as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at Michigan Technological University since August 2013. Chelsea is also a member of the Planetary Limits Academic Network since January 2022. Earlier academic roles include a fellowship at EPA-STAR and a PhD student position at UW-Madison from September 2008 to August 2013. Chelsea has held various instructional positions, including appointments at University of Wisconsin and Colorado College. Educational credentials include a PhD in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an MA in Sociology with a Certificate in College Teaching from Colorado State University, and a BA in Sociology with a Certificate in Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
