Jim Degraff

Research Professor

Jim DeGraff is a Research Professor at Michigan Technological University, focusing on rock deformation and the structure and tectonics of the Midcontinent Rift System since August 2016. Previously, Jim served as an Adjunct Professor and Research Professor at Texas A&M University and Michigan Technological University, contributing to research on structural deformation and fluid flow. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Geological and Earth Sciences from Purdue University and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from Michigan Technological University.
