Karla Aho

Karla Aho, MPA, CFRE, CSPG, serves as the Assistant Vice President for Advancement and Gift Planning at Michigan Technological University, a position held since October 2004. In addition to this role, Aho is the Corporate Secretary for the Michigan Tech Fund Board of Directors and previously held positions as Director for Gift Planning and Development Officer, focusing on donor engagement and planned giving strategies. Aho's earlier experience includes operating Aho Apartments, managing residential and commercial properties, and serving as General Manager at Evert's Motor Sales, Inc. Aho holds a Master of Public Administration from Northern Michigan University, a Certified Specialist in Planned Giving from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Michigan Technological University, complemented by an Associate Degree from Gogebic Community College.
