Kui Zhang is a Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Michigan Technological University since August 2015. Prior to this role, Kui Zhang served as an Associate Professor and Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from August 2003 to August 2015. Academic experience also includes a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at both the University of Southern California from January 2001 to August 2003 and Yale University School of Medicine from August 1999 to January 2001. Kui Zhang earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mathematical Statistics and Probability and a Master of Science (MS) in the same field from Peking University, completing both degrees between 1990 and 1999.
