Lauralee Shawhan

Lauralee Shawhan is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of Administration at Michigan Technological University since July 2018. Prior to this role, Lauralee held the position of Administrative Coordinator for Academic and Student Affairs at Finlandia University for a brief period in early 2018, and served as the Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent and Board of Education at Marquette Area Public Schools from 2010 to 2018. Lauralee's career began as a Grants Coordinator at Eastern Upper Peninsula ISD, following a lengthy tenure as a Legal Assistant at Andary and Andary, P.C. Lauralee holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies with a Minor in Economics from Northern Michigan University, completed between 2013 and 2016, and has also attended Lake Superior State University, along with Sault Area High School and Tawas Area Schools.
