Mark Rudnicki, Ph.D. is a Professor of Practice in Forest Biomaterials at Michigan Technological University since January 2015. Concurrently, Mark served as the Executive Director of the Michigan Forest Biomaterials Institute from January 2015 to December 2019. Prior to this, Mark was an Associate Professor at the University of Connecticut from 2004 to 2014, with research interests centering on the impact of physical forces on the structure and function of trees and forests. Mark holds a Ph.D. in Forest Biology and Management from the University of Alberta, a Master of Science in Forestry from Michigan Technological University, and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Management from Colorado State University.
