Orhan Soykan

Orhan Soykan is an accomplished electrical engineer and scientist specializing in industrial R&D, academic research, and teaching, particularly in the defense industry and medical devices. With extensive experience that includes roles as a Senior Principal Scientist at Medtronic, a Senior Biomedical Scientist for the FDA, and a graduate teaching assistant at Michigan Technological University, Orhan has contributed significantly to areas such as biomedical signal processing and sensor design. Currently, as the Founder and Technical-Scientific Consultant at Haswel Professional Corporation, Orhan continues to leverage their expertise in engineering, medicine, and intellectual property. Orhan holds a B.S. from Middle East Technical University, an M.S. from Michigan Technological University, and a Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University.
