Ramesh Thakur

Ramesh Thakur is a Research Scientist at Michigan Technological University since October 2001. Previously, Ramesh served as Dean of the College of Forestry and Director of International Collaborations at the University of Horticulture and Forestry from 2013 to 2014, after working as a Scientist and Associate Professor at the same institution from August 1990 to October 2001. Ramesh's international experience includes roles as a Visiting Scholar at the FFPRI from February 1997 to January 1999 and a Post-doc at the University of Freiburg from June 1993 to September 1995. Ramesh holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Forestry and Environment from Doctor Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry and has obtained an MBA in innovation and technology management from Michigan Technological University between 2010 and 2012, as well as an audit in German Language and Literature from the University of Freiburg during 1993 to 1995.
