Russ Stein has extensive experience in engineering and operations management, currently serving as a Research Engineer and Adviser at Michigan Technological University since September 2014. Prior to this role, Russ held various positions at Somero Enterprises from March 2001 to April 2014, including Director of Operations, Engineering Manager, Purchasing Manager, Production Manager, and Lead Project Engineer. Earlier in his career, Russ worked at TRW as an Engineering Group Leader from May 1988 to March 2001. Russ holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, earned between 1982 and 1987.
