Thomas Price is a dedicated mechanical engineer with extensive experience in research and automation. Currently serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at Michigan Technological University since July 2018, Thomas previously held the position of Automation Engineer at Select Technologies Inc., where responsibilities included programming PLC systems and developing HMI applications. Prior experience includes roles as a Math Learning Center Coach at Michigan Technological University, where Thomas provided individualized support to students, and as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at both Faurecia and Kohler Co., contributing to manufacturing setup and product development. Thomas holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering, as well as a Master’s degree and a Bachelor of Applied Science, all from Michigan Technological University.
