In this historic space, two iconic jazz analog studios, Studio Barigozzi and MuRec, etched their indelible mark on the music scene. Throughout the 70s and 90s, these studios served as a pivotal hub for record labels, producers, and the vibrant jazz community. Esteemed labels like Black Saints, Soul Note, Red Records, and Philology chose these studios to craft their legendary recordings, birthing epic jazz masterpieces.

Mr. Giancarlo Barigozzi, the visionary founder, and Paolo Falascone, his accomplished sound engineer and successor, collaborated on over 350 recordings spanning jazz, pop, and classical genres since 1974. Today, MU74 stands as Mitsuhide Music agency and MU74 Label studio, proudly inheriting and steering this rich legacy into a new era. We consider it an honor to preserve and propel forward such a storied heritage.

Our mission is deeply rooted in the world of music, encompassing artistic production, experimental sessions, improvisation, electronica, and sound design. We embrace unconventional paths in our creative journey, collaborating with a diverse array of artists. We see ourselves as a magnetic force for positive energies, fostering a sense of community and enjoyment since September 2018.
