Hammad Rahman is an accomplished professional in the infrastructure and investment sectors, currently serving as the Director and Head of Asia Pacific, Traditional Infrastructure at Mubadala since January 2021. Previously, Hammad held the role of Senior Vice President from January 2018 to January 2021, focusing on business development and portfolio management within the infrastructure space. Hammad has extensive experience in asset management and business development, demonstrated as the Vice President for both the Industry Group and Technology Group at Mubadala Development Company. Prior work includes a consultancy role at McKinsey & Company and a consultant position at The World Bank, where innovative development programs were created for rural entrepreneurs in Pakistan. Hammad began a research career as a Research Associate at Harvard University, concentrating on economic impact studies. Hammad holds an M.Phil in Economics from the University of Oxford and a BSc in Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences.
