Amy Wong

Amy Wong has extensive experience in the film and media industry, currently serving as a Database Editor at MUBI since August 2016, where responsibilities include managing and consolidating film database entries. As the Editor & Owner of YAM Magazine since December 2008, Amy focuses on expanding global pop culture through films, music, and television. Additionally, Amy contributes as a writer for Cinencuentro, discussing film and design and tracking the growth of Asian cinema. Previous roles include writing for Japan Cinema and TOMA UNO, where Amy also worked on magazine and web design. Amy's early career included positions as a designer at Invoke Media and MARdeORO Films, and maintaining the backend for Starry Constellation Magazine. Amy holds two degrees from Vancouver Film School in Digital Design and Foundation Visual Arts and Design.
