Jonathan Kiefer

Jonathan Kiefer is an accomplished film professional with extensive experience in writing, film production, and education. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of Film at California College of the Arts since August 2022, Kiefer also works as a Communications Associate at Roxie Theater and holds the roles of Screenwriter and Associate Producer for the feature film produced by AROUND THE SUN, featuring notable actors Cara Theobold and Gethin Anthony. As a Contributing Writer for MUBI and the Managing Editor for the Mill Valley Film Festival and Doclands at the California Film Institute, Kiefer actively contributes to the film community. Previous roles include film festival screener at SFFILM, Writer at Netflix, and Editorial Director at Fandor. Kiefer's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Film from Boston University and studies at Columbia University.
