Ming Yang

Ming Yang currently serves as the Chief R&D Officer at Mucommune since January 2025. Prior to this role, Ming held the position of Senior Vice President of Research and Development at Life Biosciences from May 2023 to December 2024. Ming's extensive experience in research and development spans over a decade at Graybug Vision, Inc., where Ming progressed through various leadership roles including Senior Vice President, Vice President, Senior Director, and Director of Research, as well as Senior Scientist and Scientist. Ming began the professional career as a researcher at Genentech in early 2011. Academically, Ming holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, a Master’s degree in Bioengineering from Penn State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University.
