Michael Monaghan

Michael Monaghan has extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Michael currently works at Mud Bay as the Human Resources Director, where they have been since January 2023. Before this role, they worked as a Senior Human Resources Specialist at Mud Bay from April 2020 to December 2022. In this position, they managed HR functions for a large company with over 600 employees and 60+ locations.

Prior to their time at Mud Bay, Michael worked at the Washington National Guard for over 10 years. Michael held various positions, including Senior Recruiting Manager, Executive Officer, Military Engagement Team Leader, Human Resources Officer, and Operations Officer.

Before their service in the Washington National Guard, Michael served in the US Army for several years. Their roles in the army included Field Artillery Officer, where they acted as the primary liaison to the infantry for indirect fires and non-lethal effects on the battlefield.

Michael also has experience working as a Chaplain Assistant in the US Army, where they provided administrative and clerical assistance to chaplains and managed chapel facilities.

In addition to their military and HR experience, Michael Monaghan gained work experience as a Dishwasher at Community Village from July 1995 to January 1998.

Michael Monaghan has a diverse education history. Michael began their education at Delta College in 1996, where they completed general studies. In 1999, they attended Cameron University and obtained an Associate's degree in General Studies. Following this, from 2002 to 2004, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Sociology at Cameron University. In 2010, they enrolled at the University of Washington and earned a certificate in Information Security and Risk Management in 2011. Continuing their education at the University of Washington, Michael completed a Master's degree in Infrastructure Planning and Management from 2011 to 2013. Most recently, in 2020 and 2021, they attended Villanova University, obtaining a certificate in Human Resources Management.
