Anvar Mahammad

Anvar Mahammad has a strong background in finance and data analysis. Anvar started their career as a Summer Intern at PASHA Bank OJSC, where they gained experience in private debt. Anvar then worked as a Trading Intern at the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan, where they gained knowledge in trading. After that, they worked as an Investment Analyst at BICapital.

In 2018, Anvar joined OneDome as a Finance and Data Analyst. During their time there, they automated invoicing and contractor payments, managed accounts, and prepared financial models for new investors, resulting in significant time savings for the team. Anvar also built an image classifier using Deep Neural Network (ResNET-50) with a 91% accuracy rate in out-of-sample testing. Additionally, they created a comparative scoring algorithm for crime levels, green spaces, and noisiness in each UK postcode, as well as a statistical recommendation model for marketing budget allocation.

Most recently, Anvar joined Accenture as a Data Analytics Consultant in 2022.

Anvar Mahammad completed a Master's Degree in Financial Economics from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, between 2016 and 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Investment and Financial Risk Management from Cass Business School, graduating between 2013 and 2016. In terms of additional certifications, Anvar obtained a Natural Language Processing Nanodegree from Udacity in June 2020 and the Udacity - Robotics Software Engineer certification in April 2020. Anvar also completed several courses on Coursera, including Convolutional Neural Networks in May 2018, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization in April 2018, Structuring Machine Learning Projects in April 2018, Neural Networks and Deep Learning in March 2018, and Machine Learning in February 2018. Anvar's earliest certification was the CCNA Exploration: Network Fundamentals from Cisco, which they obtained in March 2011. Overall, Anvar has a strong educational background in finance, with additional certifications in machine learning, deep learning, and network fundamentals.
