Mark Hanney has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Mark started their career as a Junior Product Designer at Blatchford, where they worked on various projects related to prosthetic legs. Mark then moved on to Fluor Corporation, where they worked as a Control Systems Designer, focusing on instrument control panels and control rooms for oil and gas plants.

In 2010, Mark Hanney transitioned to the field of Graphic Design and worked as a Graphic Designer for their own company. After that, they joined MM Studios as a Midweight and later a Senior Digital Designer, working with technology-driven start-ups on branding and UI design projects. During this time, they played a crucial role in helping a start-up client, Sybenetix, through its acquisition by Nasdaq.

Mark later worked as a Lead UX/UI Designer at Crowd Connected, leading the design of Colocator 2.0, a flagship event crowd mapping and communication platform. Mark then joined Mirum Agency as a Senior UI Designer, where they created digital experiences for global brands such as HSBC, Shell, Fiskars, and Royal Mail.

In 2018, Mark Hanney joined Swanky (Shopify Plus Agency) as a UX/UI Designer and helped establish their Australian branch. Mark successfully launched several projects and established strong client relationships, contributing to the rapid growth and success of the Australian office.

Currently, Mark Hanney is working at Mudbath as a Senior Experience Designer, utilizing their expertise in designing user experiences.

Mark Hanney completed their Master of Design (Honours) in Industrial Product Design from Coventry University between 2002 and 2006. Later, in 2011 and 2012, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Design in Communication Design at Billy Blue College of Design.
