Max Baumann

Max Baumann is the Founder and CEO of Basemakers, an industry-leading retail sales agency that supports iconic better-for-you CPG brands. Under Baumann's leadership since January 2015, Basemakers has achieved significant recognition for retail execution, serving over 300 brands and managing more than 1 million store visits across 30+ states. In addition to leading Basemakers, Baumann serves as a Founding Partner at Back to Back VC, an advanced AI-driven venture capital firm, and holds advisory and investment positions at various innovative companies, including Redbud Brands, MUD\WTR, and Oats Overnight. Baumann also contributes to the CPG community as a Master Teacher at SKU and as Chairman of the Development Committee for Naturally Austin, a prominent CPG organization in the U.S. Educational credentials include executive training from The Wharton School.
