Brian Slackman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in risk management, business controls, and internal audit within the financial services industry. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Business Controls for the Americas at MUFG since June 2011, Brian has held multiple leadership roles including Head of Global Markets Strategy & Business Operations, Risk & Controls Officer for Markets, and Business Unit Risk Manager for Investment Banking & Markets. Prior to MUFG, Brian was Vice President of Internal Audit at Nomura and Natixis Bleichroeder, as well as Associate Vice President of Internal Audit at Fimat USA. Brian earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Penn State University.
