David Cheng

David Cheng is a seasoned professional in internal audit, cybersecurity, and identity access management with over two decades of experience in the financial services and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Internal Audit for IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Regulatory Issue Validation at MUFG since July 2016, David manages audits across various critical areas, including cybersecurity frameworks and third-party risk management. David also holds the position of Director and IAM Control and Governance Officer, overseeing the US team in controls and governance for IAM. Active in the professional community, David is a member of the Board of Directors for the ISACA New Jersey Chapter and previously served on the Board of Visitors for the College of Science and Liberal Arts at NJIT. With a background that includes leadership roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co., Goldman Sachs, KPMG, and Advanced Energy, David has developed a robust skillset in technology and governance. David holds an MBA in Investment Management from Pace University and dual master's and bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Biology from the University of South Florida.
