James Schwei

James Schwei is an experienced professional with a robust background in regulatory reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Currently serving as Vice President of Regulatory Reporting Quality Assurance at MUFG since May 2016, James established the Quality Assurance function and leads testing to ensure compliance with banking regulatory reports. As a Partner at SOX Expert since 2006, James focuses on providing Sarbanes-Oxley and internal control software solutions for various organizations. Additionally, James serves as Principal at Database Solutions, delivering consultancy in Excel/VBA applications, business process improvement, and project management. With a history of consulting for multiple prominent clients, including the New York Mercantile Exchange and Standard Motor Products, James has significantly contributed to SOX implementation and remediation across various industries. James holds an MBA from the University of Utah and a BS in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
