Mark Barnes

Mark Barnes has extensive experience in risk management and credit analysis within the banking sector, beginning at Standard Chartered Bank from October 1989 to May 1992 as a Bank and Country Risk Officer. Subsequently, positions held included Senior Risk Manager and Credit Sanctioner, overseeing risk for a diverse portfolio of financial institutions across Europe and serving as Senior Risk Manager for prominent US investment banks. Mark served as Senior Credit Manager (Director) with significant credit approval authority at a senior level for a range of sectors and clients. Later, at National Bank of Egypt (UK) Ltd, Mark provided independent credit risk assessments for global financial institutions, before joining MUFG as a Credit Risk Manager specializing in insurance and sovereign entities.
