Mark Sherratt

Mark Sherratt is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in corporate and investment banking across Africa. Currently serving as Managing Director, Chief Representative, and Country Head for MUFG in South Africa since May 2014, Mark oversees the growth of MUFG’s Corporate and Investment Banking business in Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to this role, Mark held positions at HSBC Africa as Senior Vice President, focusing on Southern Africa Development Community countries, and led sales initiatives in payments and clearing for Financial Institutions across Africa. Mark's earlier career includes significant roles at HSBC in Europe and Standard Bank, encompassing financial institutions management. Mark holds a B.Tech degree in Banking from the University of Johannesburg.
