Markus Kasim is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in project finance and energy sector coverage. Currently serving as a Director at MUFG since April 2024, Markus focuses on project finance advisory and lending. Prior to this role, Markus held the position of Director in Energy Sector Coverage at ING from May 2014 to March 2024. Markus also contributed to Standard Chartered Bank from June 2007 to April 2014, advancing through various roles including Vice President of Corporate Lending and Associate Director of Client Coverage. Markus began the career as an Associate in Credit Analysis for Oil & Gas and Commodity Traders & Agribusiness. Markus earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Materials Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) and attended Canisius College from January 1999 to January 2002.
