Rob Nicol

Rob Nicol is an experienced professional in operational risk management, currently serving as the EMEA Head of Securities Operational Risk Management at MUFG since January 2019. Prior to this role, Rob held multiple positions at Nomura, including Vice President of Operational Risk Management, where responsibilities encompassed EMEA Head of Corporate and Scenarios & ICAAP, as well as management roles in Prime Brokerage and Cash Middle Office operations. Rob began a career break in June 2007 before returning to Nomura in 2002, taking on roles in Japanese Equity Sales and Japan Operations. Rob holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Cardiff University, obtained between 1997 and 2000.
