David Kaplan

David Kaplan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in category management and sustainability, currently serving as Global Category Manager at MCC Label since April 2022. Previously, Kaplan held senior roles at Georgia-Pacific LLC, including Senior Category Manager and Waste Optimization Manager. As CEO of Maine Plastics from March 1989 to February 2015, Kaplan oversaw operations in plastics and materials recycling, offering services such as baling and grinding. Concurrently, Kaplan contributed as Vice President at AGS Sustainability Services and A Greener Solution, focusing on sustainable practices and recycling program implementation. Kaplan began a career in the healthcare sector as a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist at the University of Illinois. Kaplan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of Michigan.
